A heart shaped tin box is packaging that customers buy for the shape alone. Chocolats, truffes, bijoux, candles and keepsakes all become gifts the moment they sit inside a heart, making this the highest-emotion format in tin packaging. Brands use heart shaped tins for Valentine’s Day, weddings, anniversaires, Mother’s Day and year-round romance lines.

The tin is made from food-grade 0.23 mm tinplate with an optional food-grade interior lacquer for direct contact with chocolates and candies. Foam inserts or food-grade paper cushion pads cradle individual pieces, and the shaped lid takes full custom printing. Many heart sizes exist in our mold library, so most projects start without tooling cost.

Printing is handled in-house with CMYK offset printing and oil-based inks; Couleurs d'accompagnement Pantone, including Pantone Metallic, are available when your brand needs an exact match. As a rule of thumb, a glossy finish makes printed colors look brighter and more saturated, while a matte finish reads subtler and more premium. Embossing or debossing adds a tactile accent to your logo.

Choosing an existing mold keeps your MOQ at 5,000 pieces and your lead time short. Developing a brand-new size means new tooling, a higher MOQ and extra mold fees, so it is usually worth checking our mold library first. Custom samples take 12~15 days.
